About the role

We are on the lookout for a talented Diesel Mechanic to keep our fleet and equipment in peak condition. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and vehicles. The Diesel Mechanic will work closely with our teams to ensure that all vehicles are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, trucks and earthmoving equipment
  • On site servicing and maintenance when required
  • Follow safety protocols and WHS policies in the workshop
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

About You

This position would suit a candidate who possesses the following:

  • Qualified Diesel mechanic
  • Experience in maintaining and repairing trucks and earthmoving equipment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills
  • Forklift / machine tickets beneficial
  • HR / HC truck licenses preferred
