Hey there Are you passionate about the hospitality industry and love making guests feel welcome? Do you want to join a fun and professional team at a restaurant that's been recently recognised for its quality and excellence with a "Chefs Hat"? If so, Lagotto would love to join our wonderful team.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in high end venues is preferred but not essential. You must also have an interest in food and drink, with a desire to learn more.

At Lagotto, we offer modern Italian cuisine with a focus on delicious food and warm, attentive service and more importantly, hospitality. Our restaurant boasts a beautiful design with beautiful food in a laid-back atmosphere, making it a neighbourhood gem. Plus, our customers are fantastic and a delight to serve.

Our beverage menu features a short punchy cocktail list, Italian varietals from Australia and Italy, including both classic styles and modern natural wines. As a member of our team, you'll get to participate in internal and external wine tastings and training (including WSET courses), enjoy great staff discounts at Milieu Hospitality venues, have a minimum of two set days off in a row (plus closed public holidays and Christmas/NYE break), receive strong weekly tips, and even go on team days out to visit suppliers and local competition. Plus, you'll be part of a friendly and respectful team culture that includes staff meals.
