We're Hiring – Senior/Experienced Accountant

To commence in early to mid January 2026

Work Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30AM to 3:30PM

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in accounting gaining experience across a wide range of finance and administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

● Perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records

● Maintain and manage the chart of accounts

● Prepare and post journals for month-end and year-end reporting

● Assist with the preparation of balance sheets and financial statements

● Ensure bills and invoice processing is correct and checked ensuring timely processing by team

● Assist with ATO compliance, including BAS, PAYG, and GST reporting

● Support payroll processing and employee expense claims

● Provide assistance during audits and end-of-year accounting processes

● General bookkeeping and other accounting-related tasks as required

What We're Looking For:

● A keen eye for detail and accuracy

● Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

● Experience with Xero accounting software required

● Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

● Excellent communication and organisational skills

● Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently studying) is preferred

● Understanding of payroll tax
