About the Role

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for all engineering tasks and engineering resource allocation across the internal multi-disciplinary engineering team, in particular Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Control Systems and Software Engineering.

Specific accountabilities include:

· Developing and implementing engineering processes and practices across the organisation

· Developing, communicating and managing engineering tasks in conjunction with the construction manager, to ensure correct prioritisation to maintain project delivery is on time and on budget.

· Ensure all project designs enable construction, commissioning and handover can be completed in a safe manner and in compliance with relevant standards.

· Provide engineering support through sound engineering practices across the entire business, including ongoing technical support for the Operational teams

· Mentoring and development of Engineering team members

This role is based in Brisbane with some interstate travel required.

About you

To be considered for this unique career opportunity, it is preferrable you possess:

· A relevant engineering degree

· Proven experience leading and mentoring a multi-disciplinary engineering team

· Experience in a growing business and with developing and implementing new engineering processes and practices

· A strong commitment to health and safety

· Ability to travel interstate

· Understanding of and passion for emerging technologies in clean energy
