The Role

As a junior member of our team, you will work under and learn from your senior colleagues. You will provide efficient and innovative design solutions for the various components of a buildings heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of detailed HVAC design solutions for various building services projects
  • Preparation of contract documentation for tendering and construction purposes
  • Attending site to inspect existing services and review construction works
  • Liaising with equipment Suppliers and Manufacturers
  • Researching new products and HVAC design practices and ensuring the Company remains up-to-date with the latest building services technology

Skills and Experience:

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be degree qualified from a tertiary institution recognised in Australia (B Eng Mechanical or equivalent)
  • Be a recent graduate. Previous work experience in HVAC working with an engineering consultancy or contractor would be an advantage
  • Have a willingness to learn and develop your skill levels
  • Be willing to travel and stay overnight, or longer, to any Australian destination if required
  • Be proficient at driving and carry a C class license
  • Have proven written and verbal communication skills and sound problem-solving skills
  • Have the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
  • Have the ability to adapt seamlessly to change within the workplace
  • Have a high degree of professionalism and integrity
