Community Coordinator / Part / Full Time / Permanent

Core hours required are Monday to Wednesday, 9:00am to 2:00pm. Additional contracted hours up to full time are flexible and can be discussed at interview.

We have a great opportunity for someone to join our team and bring excellence in Community connection program at Chorus. You will be growing the Community connection in the Peel region. You will also be encouraged to collaborate on other initiatives and short-term projects across the business. We are always learning at Chorus

Experience with:

  • Community engagement and local networking
  • Coordinating inclusive programs and group activities
  • Social media, newsletters, and promotional content
  • Building relationships with local government and stakeholders
  • Managing admin, finance, and compliance tasks
  • Writing and submitting grant applications

Must have requirements:

  • 3 – 4 years' experience in a similar role
  • Background in Art and / or music
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Own vehicle.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check

Ideal, but not essential:

  • A certificate / tertiary qualification in a relevant area such as Art or Music and Community Services.
