ASC is Australia's submarine company. About the Opportunity

Join ASC's IT Architecture team as a Solution Architect and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital transformation. Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a cohesive technical architecture vision aligned with ASC's strategic objectives.
- Guide solution design across multiple programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Evaluate architectural alternatives and converge on best-fit solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable designs.
- Provide leadership and technical direction to ensure consistency in solution delivery.
- Support the evolution of ASC's enterprise architecture through feedback and innovation.
- Contribute to the success of the Digital Transformation Project and Non-Standard Requests.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years in ICT solution development (applications, integrations, middleware).
- 3+ years as a Solution Architect, integrating diverse technology platforms.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Skilled in systems design, integration, and data migration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead sustainable process and behavioural change.
- Highly autonomous, collaborative, and effective at influencing and negotiating.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a Baseline level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
