About the role

We are seeking to employ a National Internal Sales representative for Cables, at our office in Clarence Gardens, SA. Reporting to the National Customer Service Manager, you will have regular customer interaction with maximising customer satisfaction being the foundation of every task you perform. The position would suit a well presented, highly motivated, self-starting individual who loves to assist and support in a highly responsive and driven team.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Sales quotations for enquiries via phone and email
  • Technical Support to customers via phone or email.
  • Developing solutions based on available APS products and Offerings.
  • Assist in customer parts interpretation enquiries
  • Maintaining and leading an enthusiastic approach to all sales programs and initiatives

Experience and Pre-Requisites

  • Previous customer service experience (face to face and over the phone)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Superb administrative, time management and coordination skills
  • Ability to build rapport with a customer friendly persona
  • Intermediate level of computer literacy
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to think outside the box
  • Previous experience in the Electrical Industry specialising in power distribution, motor control and industrial automation required.
  • Enthusiastic, confident and friendly
  • Be focused on accuracy, attention to detail and results driven
  • Ability to work in a team environment
