We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience providing person-centered support and be comfortable working in a home environment with pets.

About the Role

You will be supporting participants in their daily lives, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life. Duties may include:

  • Assisting with manual handling and mobility support
  • Providing support for individuals with seizure management plans
  • Delivering personal care (highly desirable)
  • Facilitating community access and engagement (highly desirable)
  • Working around pets such as dogs and cats

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Current Manual Handling and Seizure Training
  • Experience with personal care and community access
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including day and sleepover shifts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring, reliable, and proactive attitude

Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check (if applicable)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
