Full time position based in one of Sureway's offices in the Brisbane area - Ipswich, Greenslopes, Inala, Wynnum.

We're seeking a Senior People & Culture Business Partner to provide senior-level partnering to our leaders, while also leading and supporting our small Business Partner team. This role plays a key part in shaping a culture that is inclusive, accountable and aligned to Sureway's purpose, ensuring our people practices support both performance and positive community outcomes.
Reporting directly to the GM, People & Culture, this role balances hands-on business partnering with people leadership and coordination of key P&C initiatives. It's a role for someone who enjoys staying close to the business while lifting capability and consistency across the BP function.
Duties
- Provide senior People & Culture business partnering support to Executives and leaders
- Lead, coach and line manage two People & Culture Business Partners
- Ensure consistent, high-quality BP practice across the team
- Support and guide organisational and structural change activities
- Oversee the progress of P&C projects and initiatives, ensuring clear communication, momentum and delivery
- Act as a key conduit between the GM P&C and the BP team
- Build and coach leadership capability in the organisation
- Provide advice on complex employee relations, performance management and workforce matters
- Use data and insights to inform people and organisational decisions
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in a senior HR / People & Culture business partnering role
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring other HR professionals
- Strong capability in organisational change, employee relations, project and stakeholder management
- The confidence to influence at executive level while remaining pragmatic and grounded
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial frameworks
- Experience in community services, not-for-profit or similarly complex environments (highly regarded)
