Our Defence Division operates from four key locations: Perth Airport (WA), Cheltenham (VIC), RAAF Pearce (WA), and RAAF Williamtown (NSW).

About the Role

Due to program growth, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced and motivated Technical Officers to join our Defence Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Team.  Work locations available for this role include our Cheltenham (VIC) Defence Support Centre, RAAF Base Pearce (WA), and RAAF Edinburgh (SA).

Our Technical Officers plays a vital role in supporting the Australian Defence Force's Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE) inventory through technical services and logistics support.

Key Responsibilities

To succeed in this role will require energy, discipline and the ability to work as part of a small and dynamic team, servicing a demanding ADF client. The role will be diverse and will include:


• Technical Publication review and amendment.


• Understanding and application of maintenance and lifing policies for equipment in relation to the product lifecycle.


• Identification, codification and cataloguing of new items of supply.


• Actioning of Disposal Directives.


• Technical support and data management for ALSE acquisition projects.


• Help Desk ticket management.


• Communication of specialist technical advice to internal and external stakeholders.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Technical qualifications and experience, preferably in ILS management (Maintenance or Engineering, Repairable Items, Spares Support).
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Australian Citizenship and eligibility for NV1 Security Clearance.

Experience in the use of standard Australian Defence Engineering and Logistics Management systems and processes (e.g. ERP, Emerald 2, ADAASS, CAMM2 etc) will be a definite advantage, along with existing or recent Defence Protected Network and Objective access, and experience with Export Controlled items.
