Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Roche Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

At Roche you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections,  where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

A healthier future. It is what drives us to innovate. To continuously advance science and ensure everyone has access to the healthcare they need today and for generations to come. Creating a world where we all have more time with the people we love. That is what makes us Roche.

The focus of the Customer Success Community is to deliver on Roche Diagnostics Australia (RDA)'s annual financial targets (total sales and operating profit), whilst operating in a customer focused team who can think and act both short and long term, achieving a triple win for customers, patients and RDA. The only way this can be achieved is through enabling our customers to succeed by providing them with our market leading solutions.

The Account Manager role is a key contributor to achieving success, through strong sales and commercial acumen that delivers exceptional results in the field. Data analytics, market assessment, proactive sales analysis and CRM solution utilisation will be key to successful execution.

As a member of the Customer Success Community, you will have a responsibility towards supporting the success of the entire community and are required to think and operate at a higher level.

Key responsibilities include:

● Exceed all financial targets from both revenue and operating profit measures to enable the success of RDA. Although the role is accountable for the specific portfolio, it is expected that collaborative work is carried out to support other portfolios to help achieve their targets.

● Engage with leaders and peers through regular check-ins to drive a mindset of curiosity and success, both professionally and personally and enhance your sales skills to achieve an increased level of professional commercial acumen and results.

● Be the key contact for all matters that impact the customer or RDA with respect to the core laboratory portfolio in your territory.

● With the support from the National Sales Manager, lead the core laboratory portfolio within your territory in commercial decision making, negotiations, solution design and market performance analysis.

● Leverage the market data to create new opportunities and execute with precision and

timeliness.

● Have ownership of all opportunities that are in the pipeline, with a deep understanding of what is driving the achievement of RDA's strategy.

● Strengthening the team by proactively assisting and collaborating with colleagues, especially during demanding times

● Embrace the sales culture and opportunity management practices at Roche, contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and processes.

● Take a proactive approach to sales with a clear skill to execute

● Ensure that pre-tender shaping occurs throughout the sales cycle

Who You Are:

You are someone who wants to influence your own development. You are looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests across functions and geographies and where a job title is not considered the final definition of who you are, but the starting point.

To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

● 3 years' experience of successful complex sales execution in the core laboratory portfolio across Clinical Chemistry, Immunoassay and Haematology (or associated diagnostics industry portfolio) with a passion for ensuring the success of our customers

● Established knowledge of the core laboratory portfolio with a curious mindset of how to continue to grow, expand and protect the portfolio in a highly competitive market

● Strong understanding and experience of Public and Private Procurement

● A mindset that can deliver change through confident adoption and demonstration of new ways of working with deep analysis of commercial data to understand one's market and territory

● An ability to distill complex subjects into clear, actionable plans

● Experience working in a core laboratory would be an added benefit

● Commit to owning your professional development

● The ability to think and plan strategically

● High computer literacy and technical ability

● Ability to travel interstate where required

A valid driver's license is essential.

In return, you will be provided with a rewarding and challenging role, a supportive environment in which you can grow and develop your skills, the opportunity to work for a market-leading organisation, and a competitive remuneration package.

This role is only open to candidates that have full eligibility to live and work in Australia.

We do not accept any unsolicited resumes or enquiries from recruitment agencies- Roche has a dedicated in-house Talent Acquisition team.
