Assistant Centre Manager/Educational Leader – Sunkids Eight Mile Plains

About the Centre

Sunkids Eight Mile Plains is a beautiful, purpose-built centre catering for 85 children aged 6 weeks to school age, across five modern and fully serviced learning rooms designed to inspire curiosity, connection, and growth.

About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Centre Manager/Educational Leader to join our leadership team at Eight Mile Plains.

This role offers an excellent balance of on and off floor engagement each week — perfect for an experienced individual ready to advance their career.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a highly motivated team to deliver a high quality, emergent curriculum
  • Be able to provide a safe and stimulating environment
  • Be able to direct, lead and role model in all areas
  • Have Fantastic Communication Skills
  • Support the Centre Manager to maintain compliance and exceed National Quality Standards

What You'll Bring

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (minimum) or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • Current Blue Card
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Child Protection Training Certificate (CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025)
  • Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and QKLG
  • Experience with Qikkids software and prior experience as an Assistant Manager (highly regarded)
  • A passion for leadership and continuous improvement
