People & Culture Administrator

THE CHALLENGE
In this pivotal role, you will support the People & Culture team, gaining exposure to all facets of human resources administration. You will be the first port of call for telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries where you will provide exceptional customer service. You'll take full responsibility for administrative tasks ranging from data entry, allocation of HR enquiries to document creation, letter formatting, and event coordination.
This role offers a clear path for progression, making it perfect for someone who's got an interest in People & Culture and eager to learn and develop in this space. An HR background will be advantageous, but if you have solid admin and organisational skills and the right attitude and the motivation to succeed, we want to hear from you
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage all P&C enquiries via the central phone line and inbox—resolving or escalating within 48 hours while maintaining complete confidentiality
- Own end-to-end onboarding for new starters, including approvals, contracts, inductions, and LMS record updates
- Manage core P&C administration and compliance: role changes, contract renewals, visa checks, payroll liaison, filing audits, and org-chart maintenance
- Support recruitment activities by conducting phone screens and reference checks, coordinating interviews and job postings, drafting contracts, and reporting on time-to-fill and candidate metrics
- Event coordination – playing a central role in bringing all the fun stuff like Christmas parties, trivia nights and a day on the beach soaking up sun, surf & brand led activities
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful you will have:
- A can-do mindset and willingness to jump in.
- Some experience in Human Resources is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience in a large business with a high volume of administration would be a great advantage.
- Exceptional organisation, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service and relationship building skills as you will be the first point of contact for the People & Culture team.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and confidence learning new systems.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- A proactive mindset, able to juggle competing priorities and drive continuous improvement
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
