Maroomba Airlines has been proudly operating since 1985 and is one of WA's longest running charter airlines. Based at Perth Airport, we operate a fleet of DeHavilland Dash 8 aircraft, providing safe and reliable FIFO and charter services to clients across Australia.

We're now seeking a skilled and motivated Stores & Logistics Controller to join our Engineering Department. This is a key hands-on role that keeps our operations moving, managing stores, freight, and repairs with precision and care.

About the Role

As the Stores & Logistics Controller, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of parts, tooling, and materials throughout our engineering operations.

Your day will include overseeing incoming and outgoing freight, managing repairs, maintaining accurate inventory records, and working closely with engineers, suppliers, and logistics partners to keep aircraft operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of aircraft parts, tooling, and consumables.
  • Manage and track repairable components, ensuring timely turnaround.
  • Coordinate domestic and international freight, including dangerous goods and AOG shipments.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and data in Aerotrac (or similar ERP system).
  • Conduct stocktakes and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight providers, and repair vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with CASA, OH&S, and trade regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in stores and logistics processes.

What You'll Bring:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in stores, freight, or logistics within aviation, mining, or a similar industry
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems (Aerotrac experience highly regarded).
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Current WA C-Class Driver's License.

Desirable:

  • Dangerous Goods Awareness or Forklift License.
  • Experience with CASA Part 145 operations or international freight handling.
