We are seeking an Aviation Stores & Inventory Officer to join our dynamic aviation engineering team at Perth Airport in our Product Support Division.

Airflite's Product Support Division operates from three primary locations, Perth Airport (WA), Jandakot Airport (WA) and Moorabbin Airport (VIC).

To succeed in this role, you will require lots of energy, discipline and the ability to work as part of a small and dynamic team, servicing a demanding clientele base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and control aviation stores, ensuring accurate stock levels and traceability of aircraft parts and tools
• Maintain inventory records in line with aviation regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA, FAA, CAA)
• Issue and receive aircraft components and materials using ERP/MRO systems
• Coordinate deliveries, stock movements, and parts returns efficiently and in compliance with quality standards
• Monitor shelf-life items and calibrations, ensuring timely replacement or renewal
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure operational readiness
• Conduct regular stock checks, audits, and inventory reconciliation
• Ensure storage areas meet safety and cleanliness standards
• Coordinating with the Product Support Sales team to fulfill external parts orders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a parts stores, logistics, or inventory control (not necessarily aviation)
• Knowledge of aircraft parts, tools, and documentation is desirable but not essential (ATA chapters, certifications, etc.)
• Familiarity with aviation maintenance activities is desirable, but not essential
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and compliance standards
• Forklift license and/or Dangerous Goods Handling certification (advantageous)
• Ability to work under pressure during urgent or peak periods
• Participate in Quality Audits to ensure that warehouse practices comply with aviation compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with aviation industry regulations and safety standards (e.g. CASA, FAA ) is desirable, but not essential.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Candidates will require lots of energy, discipline and the ability to work as part of a small and dynamic team, servicing a demanding clientele base.

• Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

• The ability to obtain and hold an Aviation Security Identification Card is essential for movement within Perth Airport restricted areas.

• The ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks is essential.
• The ability to pass regular Drug and Alcohol Testing in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR Part 99).
• The successful candidate will undergo a Police Clearance check, and a Pre-employment Medical Assessment.
