Casual Support Worker – Melbourne (Northern Suburbs)

Pay Rate: $32 – $42 per hour (including casual loading), varying with qualification, experience, and shift type, in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award 2010.

About the Role

Noble Roots Support Services is seeking compassionate, reliable, flexible, and punctual Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across Victoria. In this casual role, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS participants;empowering them to live independently, achieve their goals, and engage meaningfully within their communities. Flexibility and dependability are essential, as shifts may vary based on participant needs.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Supporting participants to engage in community, social, and recreational activities
  • Providing safe and reliable transport to appointments and community events
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes in line with NDIS requirements
  • Collaborating with families, coordinators, and allied health professionals to deliver holistic support

What We're Looking For

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability), Aged Care, or Community Services
  • Demonstrated experience providing person-centred care (not required, but preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and strong punctuality
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (Employee)
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Proof of Australian citizenship or residency (e.g., passport or birth certificate)
