This is a fulfilling opportunity to provide essential care and assistance to individuals with disabilities and aged care clients, enabling them to live independently and with dignity in their own homes and communities.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks tailored to our clients' individual needs, including:

  • Personal Care: Assisting with daily routines such as showering, dressing, and grooming.
  • Domestic Assistance: Helping with light household duties like cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Community Access: Supporting clients to engage in social activities, attend appointments, and run errands.
  • Flexible Rostering: Working on a rotating roster to provide consistent care and support.

What We Require:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Relevant Qualifications: A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or an equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Essential Checks: A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, and a Working with Children Check (if applicable) or the willingness to obtain them.
  • First Aid Certification: A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Reliable Transportation: A reliable and well-maintained vehicle, a current driver's license, and comprehensive vehicle insurance.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility: The availability to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings as required.
