Unite Resourcing are seeking an experienced QA/QC Welding Inspector on behalf of our client for a project in Karratha.

This is an immediate-start FIFO position on a 2:1 roster, ideal for an experienced professional with strong knowledge of welding inspection, documentation, and quality control within the resources or construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect fit-up and completed welds to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Manage and issue consumables to welders
  • Manage and maintain WPS and WPQR documentation
  • Coordinate and qualify welders as required
  • Mark up isometrics and create electronic weld maps
  • Enter welds into the weld log and maintain accurate records
  • Manage and review NDT and PWHT results
  • Ensure all welding activities meet project and quality requirements
  • Maintain clear communication with site teams and QA/QC management

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a QA/QC Welding Inspector role within industrial, oil & gas, or resource projects
  • Sound knowledge of welding procedures, inspection codes, and quality standards
  • Proficiency in Excel and general computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
