The Role

As a Rigging Sales specialist, you will oversee:

  • Sales & Account Management – Proactively manage rigging enquiries, prepare accurate quotes and detailed floor plans, negotiate with clients, and maximise revenue and profit opportunities.
  • Rigging Operations Leadership – Oversee the planning, safety, and execution of rigging installations at PCEC, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.

You will be the go-to expert for rigging sales and delivery, ensuring events are profitable, safe, and executed to world-class standards.

Our rigging division is critical to the safe and successful delivery of these events. We are expanding our team with a sales-focused rigging professional who can combine technical expertise with commercial drive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships in the rigging space
  • Negotiate and close rigging sales, ensuring margins and profitability are maximised
  • Prepare accurate quotes, budgets, and rigging floor plans/plots
  • Manage rigging logistics, scheduling, and labour allocation
  • Lead and mentor rigging crews onsite, ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Identify opportunities to upsell AV, staging and rigging
  • Ensure compliance with venue, AVPartners, and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For

This is a role for an experienced rigging professional with proven sales acumen.

You must have:

  • Rigging Intermediate licence (minimum requirement)
  • Demonstrated rigging experience in a live events environment
  • Proven ability to develop accurate rigging floor plans and plots for sales and operational execution
  • Accuracy in quoting, costing, and project planning

Desirable:

  • Advanced rigging accreditation
  • Experience with Vectorworks Braceworks
  • Exposure to large-scale conferencing, exhibitions, or entertainment rigging
