Job Description

We are expanding our Occupational Therapy team and would love to welcome experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapists eager to be part of a multidisciplinary team and make a difference. You'll bring expertise, maturity and strong time management and organisational skills to the role.

Our purpose is to help our participants get more out of life today We pride ourselves on our culture, clinical excellence, and stewardship. We are looking for OTs who share our passion for disability.

We would love to hear from Occupational Therapists with all levels of experience who enjoy the flexibility of working in the community.

About the role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
  • Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
