Eau-de-Vie is an award-winning venue renowned for innovative menus and experiences focused on the artful pairing of food with high-end spirits, whisky and cocktails. Menus are designed in creative collaboration with the kitchen and bar teams and include a nightly sharing style menu, bespoke canape and function menus and our famed Cocktail Degustation Menu – a 5-course fine dining experience paired with cocktails created by our expert bartenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth and efficient running of front of house operations, including staffing, guest experience, and overall restaurant flow.
 - Recruit, train, and supervise front of house staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
 - Provide exceptional guest service, resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
 - Monitor stock levels for front of house supplies (e.g., glassware, silverware, linens), place orders as needed, and maintain accurate inventory records.
 - Handle cash and credit card transactions, reconcile daily sales, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
 - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety and liquor licensing laws.
 - Identify and address operational issues, making necessary adjustments to improve performance.
 - Consistently demonstrate and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring that front of house operations align with the company's mission and values.
 - Promote the company's brand and image through your own actions and interactions with staff and guests. Lead by example, setting a positive tone for the front of house team.
 - Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
 - Communicate effectively and professionally with staff, guests, and management, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
 
What You'll Bring:
- 2 years + management experience in a similar role
 - Knowledge of beers, spirits, and cocktails.
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping your cool.
 - Sociable and enjoy delivering a pleasurable and memorable experience for our guests.
 - Excel in the management of team and guest satisfaction.
 - Strong customer focus and have a passion for the industry.
 - A high level of business, management and financial skills with a commitment to achieving outstanding results.
 - Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software
 - Commitment to not just your own progression but are committed to assisting in the progression of your team.
 - Proven leadership skills and a team player.
 - Incredible communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Strong problem-solving skills.
 - A keen eye for detail.
 - A positive can-do attitude/work ethic.
 - Able to work quickly and efficiently.
