The opportunity

We're looking for a State Manager – QLD to lead our client-facing team and champion our retention and growth strategy across the state. This is your opportunity to combine leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship management to make a real impact.
Some Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing account management team, providing clear direction, coaching, and development.
- Drive growth and retention by strengthening relationships with employers and members while identifying new business opportunities.
- Represent Hostplus at industry events, conferences, and partner functions, building strong networks and partnerships.
- Collaborate strategically with internal teams and the Regional Manager to deliver on state targets and enhance client service programs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold Hostplus values in everything you do.
About you
- Proven track record of leadership and account management within the superannuation industry or financial services sector.
- Experience in motivating, leading, coaching and managing a high performing Account Management team.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful account management and sales strategies, including the development and growth of strong B2B relationships.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a track record of driving growth.
- Strong knowledge of the industrial relations environment and superannuation issues (eg. State/Federal Awards and EBAs).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Desirable).
- RG 146 compliant.
