About the Role:
With strong growth in the market, the time has now come to add another result driven individual to the sales team. The Business Development Manager – NSW/ACT (BDM) will work closely with the National Sales Manager and will be responsible for top line profitable product sales revenue contribution for BTS in the assigned market segment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity for someone to drive growth and contribute to the sales success of the company by fostering relationships, prospecting new business, and providing top-notch customer service.
You will be driven to deliver value and partnerships to our business and customers through;
- End to end sales from business development and prospecting to closing sales and customer service.
- Conducting site sales calls, product presentations and demonstrations.
- Strategic relationship building within our large customer base.
- Advocating BTS product lines to current and new customers.
- Conducting business development activities and actively seeking new opportunities for growth.
- Regular market and competitor activity analysis and research.
- Regular reporting on trends and sales activity.
About you:
- 4 to 5 years of experience in industrial personal protective equipment (PPE) sales, with strong fall protection solutions being a distinct advantage.
- Ability to point to a history of successfully building new markets and taking a strategic approach to strong and collaborative account management.
- Strong presentation & demonstration proficiencies.
- Inquisitive nature and sense of curiosity.
- Drive for results.
- Strong customer focus with exceptional negotiation skills.
- Display high levels of resilience, professionalism and credibility to clients, suppliers and his/her work peers.
- Teamwork orientation and ability to facilitate cross-functional teams.
- Experience in engineered height safety and confined space solutions will be an advantage.
- Skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and HubSpot CRM.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory at regular intervals.
