About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate (2–7 years' post-admission experience) to join our Competition and Regulatory team in Brisbane, working directly with leading competition partner Susan Jones and alongside our Tier 1 M&A team.

You'll advise on competition law and merger clearance matters for an exceptional client base, including private equity funds, corporates, and founder-led businesses.

You'll gain exposure to a wide range of matters, including:

  • Merger notifications and obtaining ACCC clearance for deals;
  • Advising on competition and consumer law matters, including commercial transactions and strategies, ACCC investigations, enforcement proceedings and private litigation;
  • Advising on compliance with regulatory regimes for specific industries;
  • Supporting strategic corporate transactions and restructures;
  • Working closely with leading M&A partners and clients across multiple industries.

We are seeking a candidate with competition law experience and strong academic credentials who thrives in a team environment, demonstrates curiosity, and shows a genuine willingness to learn and grow.
