Located at the New Farm end of the Howard Smith Wharves precinct, Ciao Papi is the perfect spot to sit and take in the river views whilst relaxing over a delicious Italian meal with friends, colleagues, neighbours and family - everyone is welcome at Ciao Papi

Our guests can experience traditional Italian pasta, chargrilled meats, fresh seafood, a range of woodfired Napoli and crispy thin pizzas straight from Ciao Papi's pizza oven, and you can't forget the tiramisu and gelato.

We're on the lookout for a dynamic Duty Manager who can assist our growing team in delivering home-style hospitality experiences whilst taking in the belissimo views of our beautiful city  

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the guest experience and continually looking for opportunities to improve
  • Lead and coach a diverse team of people ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything you do
  • Visibly active on the floor, leading by example and supporting Food and beverage Supervisors/Attendants to be the best that they can be
  • Assisting guests with any feedback and actioning as appropriate
  • A high knowledge of the product produced in venue
  • Basic knowledge of reporting 

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a similar role at a fast-paced restaurant 
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts
  • Be a positive and collaborate team player
  • Assist with guest requests and requirements
  • Hold a valid Queensland RSA
