About the role

This full-time Automotive Service Receptionist role at Springwood Mazda offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing automotive business. Based in Springwood, this role will involve providing excellent customer service and supporting the efficient operation of our busy workshop.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and on the phone
  • Scheduling and managing customer vehicle bookings and appointments
  • Handling customer inquiries, concerns and complaints with empathy and efficiency
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to vehicle service and repair
  • Assisting with the processing of customer payments and invoicing
  • Providing administrative support to the service department as required
  • Ensuring the reception area is well-presented and customer-focused at all times

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a customer service or administration role, ideally within the automotive industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a polished telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and standard office software (Pentana experience highly desirable)
  • A friendly, patient and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow procedures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
