Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager located in Sydney, NSW. The Assistant Manager will support the day-to-day operations of the store, including ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining product presentations, and achieving sales targets. They will assist in managing and mentoring team members, ensuring that company policies, standards, and procedures are upheld. The role also involves inventory management, staff scheduling, and collaborating with the Store Manager to foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with Kathmandu's values.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
  • Proficiency in retail operations, inventory management, and achieving KPI's & sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for providing excellent customer service and collaborating with team members.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively handle store challenges and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Experience in the outdoor adventure or retail industry is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A passion for outdoor activities and sustainable practices is highly valued.
