About The Position

This full-time Sous Chef position offers $80K-$85K (negotiable) and suits a technically strong, hands-on chef with proven leadership capability. You'll work closely with senior kitchen leadership to maintain quality, support the team, and contribute to menu direction. Position Description
  • Lead daily kitchen operations with confidence across key sections
  • Maintain food safety standards, ordering, and stock control
  • Support, guide, and mentor a young and energetic kitchen team
  • Assist with menu development and collaborate closely with senior leadership
  • Step up to oversee service operations as required
Position Requirements
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification (desirable)
  • Minimum 5 years as a Sous Chef, or strong CDP ready to step up
  • Strong technical skills and sound food safety knowledge
  • Positive leadership style suited to developing and supporting a young team
  • Flexibility across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
