  • SFIA (v.9) skills relevant to this role:
  • Functional testing Level 5
  • Non-functional testing Level 5
  • Understanding Requirements: Analyse project requirements and technical specifications to understand the expected behaviour of the software.
  • Test Plan Design: Create comprehensive test plans, including test cases, scenarios, and data needed for testing.
  • Test Execution: Execute tests manually or through automated tools, and document results and identify defects.
  • Defect Reporting: Report defects, including details on how to reproduce them, their severity, and priority.
  • Collaboration: Work with developers, project managers, and other team members to ensure a quality product.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of tests, test results, and defect reports.
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes don't break existing functionalities.
