Green Light are looking for an experienced Penetration Tester (NV1) for a long term project with our delivery team. You will be required to identify, monitor, mitigate, and manage information security threats and risks and participate in implementing security processes to meet our client's policies and standards.

An active 
Negative Vetting (NV1) Clearance at minimum, is essential
 – consultants who are not Australian Citizens and do not have an active NV1 cannot be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated capacity to undertake ICT security threat and risk assessments.
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop security documentation, including system Risk Treatment Plans, ISM Statements of Applicability and reviews of compliance with ISM controls
  • Demonstrated capacity to write reviews of security issues
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more ICT domains, including infrastructure, applications, online services, communications, architecture and outsourcing
  • Assist with improvement of security policies, standards, procedures, governance frameworks and strategies.
  • Undertake compliance reviews of IT systems, designs, procedures
  • Penetration Testers methods for online and mobile application.
  • Code review techniques
  • Extensive knowledge of software vulnerabilities
  • Identify security gaps, perform threat and risk assessments and recommend mitigation activities, including business processes, applications and products.
  • Communicate with all levels of clients, follow methodologies and create/present concise deliverables

Requirements:

  • 5+ years professional experience specialising as a Security Consultant / Penetration Tester
  • Proven experience in web and mobile application security testing and specialisation in one other domain would be favourable (thick application or internal/external network)
  • Proficiency across, but not limited to the security assessment methodologies of web, web services, mobile and thick client penetration testing
  • Internal and external network penetration testing
  • Application security consulting and secure code review
  • Wireless audits and assessments
  • Social engineering and read team assessments
