About the role
The Program Scheduler at Cbus is part of the Enterprise Delivery team, responsible for supporting the successful delivery of strategic, organisation-wide transformation initiatives.
This role focuses on integrated scheduling, managing dependencies, analysing schedule risks, reporting progress, and providing accurate, timely data to support effective decision-making.
This is a 12 month maximum term contract based in Melbourne.
Key Accountabilities
Program Planning and Schedule Development
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules for large-scale transformation programs including multiple projects and workstreams.
- Collaborate with project managers, workstream leads, and other stakeholders to define and sequence activities, durations, milestones, and dependencies.
Schedule Management and Analysis
- Monitor and update schedules regularly to reflect actual progress and forecast future timelines.
- Identify critical paths, risks, and opportunities to optimise delivery timelines.
- Perform schedule risk analysis and provide scenario modelling to support informed decision-making.
Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement
- Produce and distribute regular schedule status reports, highlighting progress, slippage, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Provide high-quality scheduling input into program reporting, steering committees, and executive updates.
- Collaborate with risk partners, finance, and other enterprise functions to ensure cross-functional alignment.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated experience as a Project or Program Scheduler on large-scale transformation programs involving multiple stakeholders and complex dependencies.
- Advanced skills in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or equivalent enterprise scheduling platforms.
- Strong understanding of project and program management methodologies.
- Proven ability to develop, analyse, and maintain complex integrated schedules with a focus on critical path and risk management.
- Relevant qualifications in project management, business, or related disciplines.
