The role

Our Content Manager is responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content to achieve our clients' business goals via Chinese social channels. Content Manager shares content to raise brand awareness and monitor account growth and metrics to identify best practices. They oversee all content marketing initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience. The Content Manager ensures our company's retention of clientele and facilitates further growth across accounts and products.

Responsibilities(not limited to):

  • Develop communication strategies for local companies to effectively convey messages to Chinese communities across Australia, ensuring alignment with clients' short-term and long-term goals.
  • Manage ongoing client communications & WIP meetings.
  • Develop and execute content strategies to foster business growth, enhance reputation, and create a favourable brand image.
  • Formulate a cross-platform content strategy with a commercial focus, including the development of a content calendar to unlock marketing opportunities for clients.
  • Oversee the design, production, and facilitation of clients' publicity campaigns, including multimedia contents such as images, photographs, videos, and animations.
  • Manage and oversee a team of content creators (writers, graphic designers, videographers, etc.), promoting collaboration and ensuring brand consistency across all outputs.
  • Provide comprehensive editorial, creative, and technical support to team members, encouraging the development of new ideas and strategies.
  • Direct and publish various promotional materials on Chinese social media platforms like Little Red Book and WeChat; manage clients' social media accounts ensuring they function properly and monitoring interactions to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Undertake public opinion research and utilise data analytics to refine communication and content strategies, enhancing public perception of clients' products and services.
  • Provide strong client communication channels, offering updates on project progress and crisis management, ensuring alignment with clients' expectations and values.
  • Support offline special events and campaigns by creating online awareness and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with laws (e.g., copyright, data protection), stay updated with industry developments, and generate new ideas to attract audience attention.
  • Take overall responsibility for the financial management of client accounts, aiming to improve profitability and ensuring operational, creative, and financial efficiency.

Key skills:

  • Minimum 1.5 years' experience in content/ account management related fields
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Mandarin
  • Understand design programs such as Canva, Xiumi,
    Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Excellent understanding of Chinese social media platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to manage multiple working tasks with strict deadlines
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
