This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments. Fixed Term appointments include the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 31/12/2026.
What Dental Clinic Assistant opportunities are available?
Our Dental Clinic Assistant positions are available for the following DHS programs across metropolitan and regional Western Australia:
- General Dental Clinics (Adult);
- School Dental Services (5-16-year-old children);
- Smiling Starts (0-4-year-old children);
- Relief (various locations and services).

Area profile
DHS is part of the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) and is the largest public dental health services provider in WA, operating state-wide from a network of fixed and mobile clinics, funded by the WA Government. DHS provides the School Dental Service for children aged 5-16 years, the Smiling Starts Program for 0-4-year-olds, General Dental Services to eligible adults with a current health care card or pension concession card.

Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
