MiningCommSteel Pty Ltd are currently recruiting for:

Site Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and talented Site Supervisor to work in the Adelaide Metro area and with the flexibility to work interstate and regional projects occasionally.

The successful applicant must have extensive supervisory experience in the installation of Commercial structural steel.

This position will suit an applicant who has high standards and an eye for detail who is looking for a long term future with a young and growing company.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Lead and assist in setting up a safe working environment.
  • Experience in crane lift requirements and permits.
  • Experience supervising crane operations and lift planning activities.
  • Ability to plan and schedule site activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Extensive experience with cranes & rigging with at least 3 years in the commercial steel industry.
  • Rigging ticket at any level is required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in structural steel installation.
  • Good computer skills ( proficient in MS word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Assisting Engineers / Planners in the preparation of Construction programmes and methodologies.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project performance.
  • Communicating with clients in an effective and respectful manner.
  • Engaging, motivating and supporting crews / subcontractors.
