  • 10 years of Oracle DBA experience, including RAC.
  • Proven experience upgrading databases from Oracle 12c to 19c or similar.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) – provisioning, security, networking, and backup.
  • Experience working with AWS RDS or self-managed Oracle on EC2.
  • Strong experience in RMAN, Data Guard, ASM, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with scripting or IaC tools (Shell, Python, Terraform).
  • Detailed experience managing large, complex multi database Oracle environments;
  • Demonstrated and detailed technical experience with Oracle 19c on Exadata as a DBA;
  • Cloud and/or Oracle certifications are highly regarded (e.g., OCI Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, Oracle Certified DBA).
  • Demonstrated and detailed technical experience with Linux scripting;
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute database upgrades from Oracle 12c to 19c across production environments.
  • Administer, monitor, and tune Oracle RAC clusters in enterprise workloads.
  • Implement Oracle databases in OCI and/or AWS environments (RDS, EC2).
  • Design and maintain disaster recovery, data replication, and high availability strategies.
  • Troubleshoot complex database and performance issues.
  • Automate DBA tasks using Shell scripting, Python, or Terraform.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud engineering teams on integration and delivery.
