The Oxford Hotel in Leederville is a neighbourhood pub originally built in 1906, beautifully restored and one of Leederville favourites. We pride ourselves on offering a relaxed family friendly dining experience, quality drinks and impeccable service. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, we also cater for Weddings and Corporate events in our purpose - built Function Centre located on the top floor. We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and personable Food and Beverage Manager with a commitment to providing the very best in hospitality and service. You will be a true believer in the value of customer service and recognise the critical importance of staff training. You must have previous experience in day-to-day hospitality venue operations, and demonstrate the management of staff and rosters. Computer skills are essential. This exciting career opportunity would suit an energetic, self - motivated individual with a proven track record working in the hospitality industry. **Qualifications / Requirements** - Minimum of 3 years' management experience in the hospitality industry - Thorough knowledge of food and wine - Excellent communication and service skills - Ability to train and monitor staff in all restaurant aspects - Responsible for setting up restaurant and function areas - Ensure high standards of presentation of all restaurant and function areas - Excellent time management and organisational skills - Must be highly customer focused - Strong leadership and people management skills - Ability to meet KPI’s set - Hold a current RSA and Approved Managers Card - Completed the Covid - 19 Hygiene Course - Work well under pressure - Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays **Role Includes** - Lead by example with a "hands on" management style - Management and training of staff, new and existing - Ordering - Stock takes - Cash handling and reconciliation - Oversee staff rostering and labour targets - Venue presentation - Arranging and directing security - Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the venue - Report directly to the Hotel Manager, and or Director Great opportunities exist to advance for the right person.
