Finance Coordinator (7 days per fortnight)

NWAS are seeking an experienced Finance Coordinator due to organisational growth. You will join and support the Finance team at Head Office in Leederville. This appointment is available as a permanent part-time position, 7 days per fortnight, working Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays plus alternate Mondays.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be part of a collaborative accounts & payroll team, processing a fortnightly payroll for 190+ staff, invoicing airlines, processing creditors, credit cards and all other accounting jobs as required.

What do you need to be considered?

This opportunity would suit an individual with

  • Extensive payroll experience with a minimum of 5 years in a medium sized organisation.
  • Including end to end payroll processing, including reviewing timesheets, onboarding, terminations, bonus payments, tax calculations, superannuation, PAYGW and payroll tax.
  • Experience with MYOB is essential
  • Strong ability in the processing and management of accounts, including Creditors, Debtors, Credit Card reconciliations, End of Month Reconciliations, and End of Payroll Year Reconciliations.
  • Excellent communication and time management are essential to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and SharePoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical analysis and possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Desirable skills

  • Experience with Human Force or a timesheet and rostering system is highly desired
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the airline industry would be highly advantageous
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the Company.
  • Professionalism and confidence in your own ability.
