NDIS Support Worker

Casual - Salary: $33 an hour

Travel Reimbursement + Penalty Rates + Training and support provided.

About Us:

Western Sydney Services is a dedicated NDIS service provider, committed to supporting individuals with disabilities across Western Sydney. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality care, providing tailored support to NDIS clients, and fostering independence and inclusion in the community.

We are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated NDIS Support Worker to join our growing team. This position offers an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

The role: (Immediate start)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to NDIS clients, assisting with daily living activities.
  • Support clients with complex needs and disabilities to achieve their goals.
  • Foster independence and enhance community participation for clients.
  • Develop and implement support plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and other team members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided.
  • Assist with mobility, personal care, and other client-specific requirements.
  • Transport clients as required, traveling throughout Western Sydney suburbs.

All candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • National Police Check
  • Unrestricted Australian Driver's License and a reliable insured vehicle (must be willing to drive with a participant)
  • Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a genuine passion to care and engage with participants.
  • Must be willing and able to travel various locations across Sydney in own vehicle. Must be flexible with hours and days you can work.
  • Training and career development opportunities are available with Western Sydney Services.

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Required)

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT

  • A current and valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Be able to get Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Module and NDIS Worker Screening Check
