Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join their leafy Geelong suburb office.

Your new role

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for the final review stage
  • Managing client files with minimal review queries, focusing on high-level tax and value-added opportunities
  • Engaging directly with clients via meetings, phone calls, and email to provide compliance support and advice
  • Maintaining strong technical competency and identifying process efficiencies across engagements
  • Conducting technical reviews and collaborating with Managers and Principals to deliver strategic insights
    You will also be expected to uphold professional standards and comply with internal policies regarding external work.

    What you'll need to
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Proven experience in public practice accounting, ideally at a senior level
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing workflow
  • CA/CPA qualification or working towards
