About the Role As our Senior Accountant / Team Leader, you'll work closely with the Manager and wider team to: Compliance & Advisory Prepare and review tax returns (individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships)Oversee BAS, GST, PAYG, and corporate tax compliance Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting Deliver strategic tax and financial advice Manage workflow and review outputs across compliance and advisory Lead and mentor junior and intermediate staff Contribute to process improvements and help shape the firms growth Bring a long-term career mindset, with potential to manage an offshore team in future Client Relationships Liaise with clients via email, answering queries and acquiring documents Ensure 100% accuracy, timeliness, and top-quality deliverables What We're Looking For Must-Haves7+ years in Australian public practice2+ years in a leadership, workflow, or review capacity Strong knowledge of Australian tax law, AASB standards, and compliance Confident with Xero, Excel, MYOB, Quick Books, and tax tools Exceptional attention to detail and efficiency Nice-to-Haves Experience with FYI Docs or similar DMSA natural mentor with a warm, approachable style Experience across a range of industries and client sizes Long-term mindset and excitement for future leadership opportunities Ready to Apply?If you're ready to do meaningful work, grow your career, and still have a life wed love to hear from you.
