About the role

Join our passionate team as a Pizzaiolo / Pizza Chef in either our Marrickville or Redfern restaurant. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering exceptional woodfired pizzas to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Expertly preparing and cooking a variety of delicious woodfired pizzas using fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Leading the pizza section, ensuring co-ordination with the kitchen .
  • Ensuring the consistent quality and presentation of all pizzas that leave the kitchen
  • Stock ordering and management
  • Creating new pizzas for the specials menu
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workstation to deliver efficient service
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to provide outstanding customer experiences
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience as a Pizzaiolo or Pizza Chef, working with a woodfired oven
  • Exceptional pizza-making skills, and creativity.
  • Strong understanding of food handling and preparation procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering consistently high-quality food
  • A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen

Hours of Work

Hours will be Tuesday to Saturday working from 2pm to 9/10pm each day. We are looking for someone who wants to work in either Marrickville or Redfern.
