The Company

Stone Axe Pastoral Company is a leading producer of high-quality Australian Wagyu. With a commitment to excellence in every aspect of our operations, we pride ourselves on delivering ultra-premium Wagyu to both domestic and international markets. Stone Axe Pastoral Company produces and distributes multi-award winning beef brands Stone Axe Wagyu, Cobungra Station Wagyu, and Margaret River Wagyu Beef.

The Opportunity

We're looking for two people (couples welcome to apply) to join the team at Cobungra Station, supporting the day-to-day running of this stunning high-country property. You'll be part of a close-knit team working to care for livestock, maintain the land, and contribute to the production of premium Wagyu beef.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and an opportunity to live and work in one of Victoria's most beautiful alpine regions, between Dinner Plain and Omeo.

A bit about you:

  • You're experienced and confident on horseback
  • You know how to handle cattle

  • You're confident operating farm machinery and equipment safely

  • You don't mind rolling up your sleeves — from fencing and maintenance to general property work

  • You're a reliable team player who takes pride in doing things well
