We are looking for our next superstar Receptionist at our busy clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their experience is positive from the moment they enter our clinic. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our clinic while supporting our practitioners in delivering high-quality care. You will be required to work on reception, whilst completing tasks relevant to the administration of the clinic. Hours of work will be approximately 5-15 hours, spread over 1-3 days a week, mostly Monday to Friday. Ability to work extra shifts when needed would be a bonus.

You need to be able to work well under pressure, have a high level of attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and computer skills and be flexible to cover holiday and sick relief as required.

Previous experience in medical reception would be preferred, but, not essential and the applicant should live close to Hawthorn.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Greeting patients, answering telephone calls, and booking patient appointments
  • Invoicing and receipting
  • Eftpos and Hicaps
  • General clerical duties
  • General housekeeping duties to maintain a cleanliness of clinic
  • Assisting the therapist in keeping a tidy environment
  • All administrative aspects of the running of the clinic
  • Invoicing and chasing up debtors
