Minara Resources have a number of opportunities for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our team located at our Murrin Murrin Operation.

Minara Resources is Australia's largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. The Role

Successful candidates will be responsible for undertaking planned & reactive breakdown maintenance work across various areas of the process plant. Ideally you will have experienced sizer screens, mills, thickener tanks & related agitators, and various pumps. Experience with HPAL Autoclaves is highly desirable for this role.

About You

This role would suit a driven Mechanical Fitter with previous experience working in a similar process plant environment who is looking for job security and career opportunities.

You will also have:

  • An Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential)
  • A current and valid manual Australian Driver's licence
  • Proven experience with, sizer screens, thickener tanks & related agitators, displacement pump, sump pumps & Warman pumps.
  • Experience with actuated and manual valve.
  • Previous HPAL Autoclave experience is desirable.
  • Experience working with and demonstrated compliance with work area permit systems.
  • Strong communication skills & excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities.
