We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters and Mechanical Fitters for long term positions, for multiple positions across Melbourne.

About the role:

  • $50 to $60 per hour based on position.
  • Penalties on offer based on position.
  • Locations include Epping, Tottenham, Sunshine.
  • Opportunity to progress within the company.
  • Weekly pay - Monday to Friday, some Saturdays.
  • Hours: Mon to Friday 6am - 4pm / Sat 6am - 12pm
  • 8 - 10 hour days.
  • Ongoing positions, temp to perm for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with Mobile and Fixed plant equipment such as:

  • Excavators, Loaders, Haul trucks, Wash plant, Shredders, Grinders, Screens, small tools, crushers

  • Performing minor and major repairs.

  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults across various equipment.
  • Operate from the workshop and travel to site as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Trade Qualification (must be Australian recognised)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
  • Previous experience working on mobile and fixed plant.
  • Current Drivers licence and white card.
  • EWP Licence
  • Working at heights ticket.
