Your home
This role sits within our Studio X team, forming part of the global marketing partnership between WPP and a major FMCG brand. The partnership covers more than 200 countries and territories where the brand operates. This role is focused on Australia and New Zealand, part of the Asia-Pacific region. This is a hybrid role with time spent in the Ogilvy office, WFH and with the expectation to collaborate on site with clients and teammates for one to two days per week.
Role overview
As a Community Manager in the Social Listening & Engagement function, you will be part of a team that designs and develops content for social channels spanning an exciting and high-profile portfolio of brands. You will be part of the dedicated social team that creates impact via social strategies and entertaining content in support of always-on brand and campaign activity.
Your role will cover content publishing and scheduling, community management, and reporting. Key responsibilities will include:
Community Engagement & Strategy
- Lead community engagement efforts with creative and tailored approaches to fan engagement
- Bringing brand tone and personality to life in social channels with a proactive and conversational approach to community engagement
- Develop a deep understanding of tone of voice and brand positioning for individual brands
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure community engagement strategies support overall brand and campaign outcomes
- Identify community trends and reactive opportunities to drive deeper fan participation
Content Management & Distribution
- Manage content calendars, scheduling, and publishing of content to brand pages
- Coordinate with regional lead teams and paid specialists for content distribution
- Ensure consistent brand voice across all community touchpoints
- Attend events and experiences to share live updates and fan reactions
- Applying WPP Open, our AI intelligence platform, to drive efficiencies and insights that result in greater client and community impact
Analytics & Reporting
- Use Sprinklr dashboards and analytics to track growth, engagement, and sentiment
- Use social listening tools as required to track off-platform conversation and brand buzz
- Share regular updates, insights, and recommendations with internal and client-side stakeholders
- Monitor community feedback and adjust strategies based on performance data
