Who are we looking for?

Utilising Atomic 212º's breadth of research, tools, and audience insights, along with client marketing plans & creative approaches you'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deploy a holistic approach to our clients branded social presences across all channels.

As Social Communities Manager you will work with our clients to develop and deliver their social media strategy. You'll work managing organic and paid content, collaborating with client digital and marketing communications teams. Your role will include monitoring social channels, replying to and escalating queries and engaging with customers' content.

What will your day to day look like?

Social Media Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, with strong knowledge of social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X (Twitter), and emerging channels.
  • Monitor and respond to comments across both organic and paid campaigns, engaging with audiences where appropriate.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, features, and emerging platforms.
  • Share social media updates and trends with the agency and clients.
  • Evaluate potential brand partnerships and collaborations.
  • Support client acquisition by providing insights and strategies for organic social.

Social Listening

  • Use social listening tools to create and manage topic queries.
  • Monitor conversations, sentiment, and trends to identify engagement opportunities and brand insights.

Reporting

  • Deliver ad-hoc, monthly, and annual reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations for clients and internal teams.

Content Creation and Copywriting

  • Plan and manage monthly content calendars for key segments and brands.
  • Write and edit social media copy, ensuring alignment with brand voice and objectives.
  • Curate, schedule, and publish content across all social channels.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams for timely content approvals and deployment.

Social Strategy & Playbook

  • Maintain and update social media strategies and brand playbooks.
  • Provide regular recommendations to enhance content performance, engagement, and reach.

What will set you up for success?

  • Proven relevant experience in a similar role
  • First-rate communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A well-versed candidate in Content Creation and Community management
  • Social platforms & community management tools experience is mandatory
  • Demonstrated experience in conveying concepts clearly and engagingly to varied audiences
  • Capability to develop and implement effective community engagement strategies
  • Experience evaluating data, developing and delivering reports and credible insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Aptitude to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Strong self-management experience and the aptitude to work without direct guidance are key to success in this role
  • Hands on experience in Canva and Sprinklr
