Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Lead Educator based in Williamstown. As a Lead Educator, you will oversee the planning and implementation of engaging and developmentally appropriate programs inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. You will mentor and support your team of Educators, foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Additional responsibilities include maintaining educational documentation, facilitating children's individual learning goals, and promoting a sense of community within the center.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in early childhood education practices and passion for the Reggio Emilia approach
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and mentoring skills to guide and support Educators
  • Program planning, educational documentation, and curriculum development experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and team members
  • Ability to manage and create safe, inclusive, and stimulating environments for children
  • Certified qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care (e.g., Diploma or higher)
  • Understanding of child safety standards and commitment to fostering a safe childcare setting
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
