About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support our consulting team. This role is ideal for a student in economics, accounting, finance, or a related field who wants to gain experience in a professional economics consultancy.

You'll work 8–16 hours per week in a hybrid arrangement, combining time in our Fortitude Valley office with work-from-home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support to the Director and project team.
  • Assist with client proposals, reports, and presentations (formatting, proofreading, referencing).
  • Maintain records and databases.
  • Help with bookkeeping tasks (e.g. invoicing, expenses, reconciliations).
  • Support research and data management tasks as required.
  • Coordinate meetings and communications.
Skills and Attributes
  • Currently studying economics, accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
  • Familiarity with Xero or bookkeeping systems (advantageous but not essential).
  • Reliable, organised, and comfortable working independently.
